Reservation Terms
By confirming a booking at Urban Elephant, you agree to the following terms, which govern your stay. These conditions are designed to ensure the comfort, security, and fairness of all our guests and partners.
Cancellation & Booking Modifications
We understand that travel plans can change. To help us manage bookings effectively:
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of check-in may not be eligible for a refund.
- Changes to booking dates are possible based on availability and must be confirmed with our team.
- Shortened stays with less than 24 hours' notice may be treated as partial cancellations.
- No-shows will be recorded and the room released.
Note: For high-demand locations such as The Rose and The Flamingo, we kindly request at least 14 days' notice for cancellations.
House Rules & Guest Conduct
To maintain a peaceful and respectful environment for all guests:
- Apartments are intended for relaxation and business use - not for parties or large gatherings.
- Disruptive behaviour may result in early termination of your stay.
- Smoking inside the property is strictly prohibited.
- Pets are not allowed, unless arranged in advance and confirmed in writing.
Rates, Check-in/Out & Extensions
- All prices are displayed in South African Rands (ZAR) and include VAT.
- Rates are per apartment or room, per night or month.
Check-in & Check-out
- Check-in: From 14:00
- Check-out: By 10:00
If you'd like to extend your stay, please notify us early. We will do our best to accommodate you based on availability.
Time Departed
- Up to 12:00: Flexible for both Standard Guests and Loyalty Members.
- Later times: Subject to availability for both Standard Guests and Loyalty Members.
Responsibility & Conduct
- Guests are expected to take care of the property and report any breakages or issues.
- Urban Elephant and its staff are not liable for loss, theft, or injuries sustained on the premises.
- Entry to the property is entirely at your own risk.
